Brockenhurst and Sway Day Centre

A small Day Centre located at Brockenhurst Village Hall in the New Forest, and run independently under the auspices of Age Concern Hampshire.  It operates one day a week, on a Friday.

A day at the Centre consists of the Member being picked up from home and brought to the Centre, where they are welcomed with a cup of tea or coffee.  The morning usually consists of a small raffle, and a short armchair exercise session, followed by quizzes, slide shows or other entertainment.  Lunch at 12 noon consists of a delicious home cooked meal and dessert, with dietary requirements being catered for.

In the afternoon, after refreshments, there are further activities or outings, and the day finishes around 3.00 pm.  Transport is provided.
