Fundraising and Income Generation Manager,

30 hours per week, Winchester

£24,333 per annum (linked to full time salary - £30,011)

This is a newly created role with our Charity, to play a key role in the development and implementation of Age Concern Hampshire’s long term Fund Raising & Income Generation strategy.

Age Concern Hampshire’s mission is to assist older people to increase their independence, knowledge, income, wellbeing and sense of purpose. We have a vision in which getting older is a positive experience where all older people are respected, valued and are able to make informed choices. The post holder will lead the organisation’s fundraising activities and secure funding for programme work and organisational core costs.

Reporting to the Director, the Fundraising and Income Generation Manager will develop Corporate, Trust, Legacy, Individual and event based fundraising streams. You will also manage and develop trading activities and ensure they are complementary to our fundraising and to our organisational values, and strengthen the income generation team by introducing a range of volunteer roles.

Applicants must have an understanding of major donor, regular giving and legacy fundraising, and proven fundraising skills in at least one of these areas.You should also have experience of managing a fundraising team and of writing successful trust applications. The ability to motivate and enthuse staff, colleagues, volunteers and external supporters is essential, and you must demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of key issues for older people.
