Beaulies Dvelopment Centre

Education at Beaulieu Development Centre

Over the years outdoor activities have been used worldwide to encourage new ways of learning, in a supportive environment.

Beaulieu Development Centre has a wealth of experience in the delivery of individually designed programmes to achieve successful outcomes for all types of educational groups.

Our tailor-made programmes provide opportunities to develop teamwork, leadership, problem solving, interpersonal skills and co-operation.

Experienced and highly skilled instructors introduce teams to each activity, allow time for planning and completion of the task set and then review the learning gained. By working together in teams to meet challenges, solve problems and reflect on their success, young people find themselves in the perfect environment to discover resources and qualities within themselves and each other that they can use in all areas of their lives.

The activities we offer are both physical and non-physical to ensure we can meet the specific requirements and abilities of your group. We are sensitive to the needs and goals of individuals so all activities are offered on a challenge by choice basis.

The natural woodland setting provides a fantastic outdoor environment for your course. We have wooden shelters where your group can meet, have lunch and shelter in inclement weather.

We are an organisation with a reputation for excellence and professionalism in developing young people and introducing the concept of teamwork within schools and education.

We offer primary age children, from Key Stage 2, the opportunity to take part in low initiative and problem solving tasks, enabling the teams to develop and explore; interpersonal, leadership and teamwork skills.
