• Parent and Toddler groups provide play and socialisation for children.

• Parent and Toddler groups provide socialisation for parents who must stay with their children when attending.

• Groups usually run by parents or a committee of local parents/ organisations.

Quality assurance

• Groups known are supported by the Hampshire Pre-School Learning Alliance.

• Some Parent and Toddler groups can be registered through the voluntary part of the Ofsted Childcare Register if they meet requirements.

Costs

• Low cost - session which often includes refreshments.

Times available

• Mornings or afternoons, different days, lasting from 1 hour to just under 2 hours.
