Come to Queen Elizabeth Country Park and test some of our exhilarating cycle routes. Queen Elizabeth Country Park has trails for both the beginner and the keen cyclist.
Mountain Bike trails
There are two permissive bike trails which are clearly way marked on the ground. The Novice mountain – bike trail 6km (3.7 miles) and the Advanced mountain – bike trail 5km (3.1 miles)
Off road cycle street trails
Two further trails start in the Park and lead out into the surrounding countryside. These use the rights of way network and some public roads. Queen Elizabeth 16km (10 miles), Meon Valley 16km (10 miles).
For more information on these routes and others in Hampshire, a pack of ‘Off Road Cycle Trails’ is available from the Visitor Centre for £2.99.
The Queen Elizabeth Country Park Visitor Centre Gift Shop stocks a wide range of essential cycling equipment from inner tubes and puncture repair kits to glasses, gloves and drinks bottles.
Cyclefest and other cycling events
There are a number of fun cycling events and races throughout the year. See What’s On for details.
Queen Elizabeth Country Park also has their own group of volunteers to help improve the quality of the trails at the Park. The group are known as the QECP Trail Collective.
