Timeline of application process for admission to Year R & Year 3 in September 2013

It is very important that your application is submitted by midnight on Tuesday 15 January 2013.

01 November 2012 -online application system opens

Parents resident in Hampshire (not including Portsmouth or Southampton) wishing to apply for a place to start school or transfer to junior school can apply online or request a paper form available from Hampshire schools or the County Admissions Team.

Tuesday 15 January 2013 (by midnight) - Deadline for Year R applications (to an infant or primary school) & Year 3 applications (to a junior school).

The online application system will close on this date. Parents who miss the deadline will need to apply on a paper application form available from Hampshire schools or the County Admissions Team.

15 February 2013 - Final date for changes to on-time applications.

If you provide evidence to the County Admissions Team of a significant change of circumstances (usually a change of address) you may make a change to an on-time application until this date.

Tuesday 16 April 2013 - On-time applicants will be notified by Hampshire County Council of the outcome of their applications.

Online applicants will receive this notification by email and parents who submitted paper applications will be sent a letter on 16 April 2013 by first-class post.

Tuesday 30 April 2013 - Late applications received before 16 April are considered.

From Wednesday 01 May 2013 - Late applications received on or after 16 April are considered.
