Disqualification Criteria

Governing bodies constituted before 1 September 2012

The criteria are set out in the School Governance (Constitution) (England) Regulations 2007 paragraphs 4-11  35kb and schedule 6 which came into force on 25 May 2007.

Governing bodies constituted on or after 1 September 2012 or Children's Centre partnership boards.

These are set in the School Governance (Constitution) England Regulations Schedule 4  37kb which came into force on 1September 2012.

Management committees of Education Centres. These are set out in the Education (Pupil Referral Units) (Management Committees etc). England Regulations 2007, paragraph 9-13 and Schedule 2  41kb which came into force 13 November 2007.
