Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum [GT137]

Who will benefit? Governors of infant and primary schools.

What will you learn? The new Early Years Foundation Stage became statutory in September 2012 for all children 5 years and under .This session will look at the statutory requirements related to young children s learning and development and how governors can monitor and evaluate its implementation. It will include a focus on the key characteristics of effective teaching and learning, revised areas of learning and development and the assessment process.
