HMS Patrons’ Club is launched

Hampshire County Council’s Music Service is pleased to announce the launch of its Patrons’ Club to support promising young musicians to excel.

Hampshire Music Service Patrons’ Club brings people together who want to provide young, up-and-coming musicians in Hampshire with high quality instruments that otherwise would not be available to them and to ensure that gifted children are not limited in their musical achievement by their family’s ability to pay.

The Patrons’ Club will be represented by its Honourary Patron the Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire, Dame Mary Fagan DCVO, JP, who for over 40 years has been involved with community projects and charitable bodies including education and the arts.

For an annual membership fee of £25 Patrons receive a dedicated reservation service, updates on events and an invitation to the annual Patrons’ Gala where they will meet other Patrons, hear some of the best young musicians that Hampshire has to offer and find out how their membership has helped to give talented young performers the extra help they need to develop their skills.

Dame Mary Fagan is delighted to take up her role as Honourary Patron and asks like-minded people to join her: "By becoming an HMS Patron you are giving our talented young musicians in Hampshire a real boost on their musical journey.”
