Emergency Kit
An emergency could happen at any time and have a variety of consequences. One way to be better prepared is to have a readymade emergency pack in your home that is stored in an accessible area.

An emergency pack could contain the following things:
- Battery powered radio with local radio frequencies marked
- Torch
- Spare batteries
- First Aid kit
- A list of useful phone numbers, such as your doctor's and close relatives'
- Bottled water / Canned Drinks
- Evacuation Checklist
The Evacuation Checklist could include items such as:
- Your Emergency Pack
- Warm clothing and blankets
- Essential medication and personal items e.g. spectacles
- Baby food, nappies
- Wallet, purse and bank cards
- Mobile phone and charger
- Home and car keys
- Toiletries, sanitary supplies and any regularly prescribed medication
- Pet carrier/collar & lead
