Mark Hook is Leader of the Conservative Group and Leader of Gosport Borough Council.  He first served as a Gosport Borough Councillor in 1983 until 1991.  Mark was re-elected in 1998 and now has over 20 years experience, making him one of the longest serving Councillors in Gosport.

A local businessman, trading in Gosport since 1990, Mark can be seen in his High Street store selling his range of furniture, carpets, household goods and pet accessories.

Married with three grown up sons and a teenage daughter, Mark is extremely active in the area, being Chairman of Gosport Borough Football Club, as well as taking a keen interest in all sporting activities in the Borough.
