Information for Artists and Performers
Rural touring can be a unique and fulfilling experience for both artist and audience alike and no two venues are ever the same. The locations can range from village halls and schools to converted chapels or even a Victorian folly, and vary in capacity from 50 seats to 200+.
All the shows are organised and hosted by a team of volunteers, led by a volunteer promoter for that village. Many venues are multi-purpose community buildings and often do not have technical equipment, staging or dedicated dressing rooms (committee rooms and storage areas are regularly utilised for this purpose), so it is important that any performance for rural touring should be self-contained and adaptable. We do, however, have a basic PA and floor lighting kit which can be borrowed if necessary, although a technician will not be provided.

Programming generally takes place in the New Year for the season starting the following September and if your show is compatible with our programme, we will contact you requesting further information.
