June 2013		HTM will exhibit at the School Administrators Conference held at the City Cruise Terminal Southampton on the 5 and 6 of June 2013. HTM supply the shuttle bus service to and from Southampton Central train station and the event location.
March 2013		Congratulations to HTM Staff Congratulations to Sara Hollamby for completing QCF Level 4 in AAT Accounting. Sara was voted "Student of the year,"and has been awarded the trophy in the picture on the left. Well done Sara! Congratulations to Eli Ferrao for becoming an MOT tester for class 4 and 7 at Totton Workshop. HTM would also like to congratulate the Technicians and Controllers who have successfully completed their IRTEC accredited training. IRTEC is an industry recognised accreditation. 19.01.2013		Important changes regarding driving licences From 19th January 2013, any new licences issued by DVLA for Category D1 & C1 will be valid for a 5 year period (new drivers). (Existing drivers (pre 19/01/13) will not be affected, providing you do not come into contact with the DVLA) However, this change to licensing will affect you when you do come into contact with the DVLA, and will trigger the issue of the new style EU3D style licence and the 5 year validly period for D1 / C1. Implications for employees and their managers As a reminder to managers of staff who are required to drive on the business of the County Council, you are required to ensure that those employees are legally entitled to drive. This will therefore include checking that the employee’s driving licence has not expired. HTM will not hold any responsibility for checking licences. Congratulations to HTM Staff
