Centrally Hosted SIMS / Passport Service

We are currently experiencing unpredictable stability issues with elements of the infrastructure that support the remote access solutions, including Hantsnet Passport, Hantsnet Pages Anywhere, Centrally Hosted SIMS, SIMS Learning Gateway and HSS Remote Working.

The instability will mean some (not all) users of the named services may be disconnected mid-session, but will be able to reconnect straight away and may pick up their existing Hantsnet, SIMS or HSS session. We are working with the support teams and suppliers to resolve this issue, and will update as available. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Internet

Please accept our apologies for the poor performance of the internet service to some schools.

The schools' link to the internet from HPSN2 through JaNET and the recent issues have been pinpointed to resource constraints within JaNET. We will continue to work with JaNET and our other service providers to improve the service for schools.
