The Hard, Shore Road, Warsash

 

The Hard at Warsash is a popular location for visitors to the River Hamble. The scheme includes a waterfront boardwalk, a dignified setting for the D-Day Memorial, and improved launching and landing facilities for commercial fishing and leisure users.

The scheme uses timber to provide traditional maritime details, granite setts, channels and kerbs to form robust paved areas, and resin bound natural stone surfacing to emphasise the village character of the Warsash Conservation Area.
