There are two ways of submitting planning applications, online (electronic form / email) and by post.  We promote electronic submissions as they are both more sustainable and generally quicker to process.

The whole application process is now available to view online allowing you to track the progress of your application from registration to determination.

South Downs National Park Authority

From 1 April 2011 the South Downs National Park Authority became responsible for all planning in the South Downs National Park, and is now in partnership with Hampshire County Council for those parts of the national park that are within Hampshire.
