Councillor gifts and hospitality

This register contains details of those gifts or hospitality received where the value exceeds £25 and is kept in accordance with the County Council’s Code of Conduct.
The offering of gifts or hospitality is a rare occurrence, however examples of the types of gifts or hospitality, that may be offered to Councillors can include:
Civic hospitality provided by another public authority.
Normal and modest refreshment in connection with any meeting in the course of their work as a member (tea, coffee etc).
Tickets for sporting, cultural and entertainment events which are sponsored or promoted by the Council or bodies to which they have been appointed by the Council, where the tickets are offered in relation to that sponsorship or promotion.
Souvenirs and gifts from other public bodies intended as personal gifts (e.g. arising from twin-town and other civic events).
Attendance at functions where the Member represents the County Council (for example, where they are invited to speak) or to functions where groups of Members attend by virtue of their elected position.
