STONEHAM LANE, EASTLEIGH

Highways – Permanent Traffic Order Notices from Eastleigh Borough Council in Eastleigh area.

THE BOROUGH OF EASTLEIGH (STONEHAM LANE, EASTLEIGH) (30MPH AND 40MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2013

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Eastleigh Borough Council pursuant to arrangements made under Section 19 of the Local Government Act 2000 with Hampshire County Council has made the above Order in exercise of the powers of the said County Council under Section 84 of the road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the ACT") the effect of which will be:-

Implement a 30 miles per hour speed limit on Stoneham Lane:

From a point approximately 396 metres (29 metres south of its entrance with Eastleigh Football club) from its junction with Stoneham Way link road C351/Stoneham Lane C351 in northerly direction for a distance of 124 metres

Implement a 40 miles per hour speed limit on Stoneham Lane:

From a point 396 metres south west of its junction with Stoneham Way link road C351/Stoneham Lane C351 in a southerly direction to the Borough Boundary (approximately 663 metres)

The Order will come into operation on 21 January 2013. A copy of the Order may be inspected at my office at the Civic Offices, Leigh Road, Eastleigh, during normal office hours or on the Transport and Streets pages of the Councils website: www.eastleigh.gov.uk/TRO

Any persons wishing to question the validity of the Order or any provisions contained in it on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from 11 January 2013 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
