Hampshire’s Five Circular Walks inspired by the Olympic Rings

To celebrate the 2012 London Olympics, five ‘Olympic themed’ walks were launched in Hampshire to promote the Games and encourage everyone to have a more active lifestyle. The five circular walks, which are spread across the County, represent the iconic five Olympic rings and give you the opportunity to enjoy Hampshire’s beautiful and diverse countryside while also making a positive difference to your health and wellbeing.

Hampshire County Council is also supporting a number of national walking initiatives that are linked with the Olympics, all of which provide even more options to make the most of Hampshire.

  • Walk4Life  -  A range of walks for all ages and abilities designed to get the nation walking to improve health and wellbeing.
  • Run 3-2-1  -  Designated points where families can emulate their sprinting heroes on measured marked routes based on actual Olympic distances.
