Highway Maintenance

Severe weather

Summer 2014

During very hot periods there may be a risk of flash flooding caused by heavy thunderstorms.

BBC Solent radio has traffic and public transport updates for Hampshire: 96.1FM, 999AM and DAB Digital Radio and online.

The County Concil monitors weather forecasts and we and our highways contractor Amey will respond as circumstances require. In case of any emergency additional staff are available if needed.
