The following are included as part of the service:
CEIAG (careers education, information, advice and guidance) is comprehensive and relevant, working with businesses, training providers and higher education establishments
advisers regularly meet with employers and have expert knowledge of local and national labour markets
access to an exclusive online resource with careers and qualification software, a CV creator and local vacancy bulletins
a licence to support schools/colleges in gaining Investor in Careers - the quality standard for CEIAG
schools/colleges are involved in the selection, development and continued appraisal of their careers adviser
CEIAG training is available for school/college staff during INSET days
an annual careers conference and network meetings for schools/colleges with training providers and other organisations to discuss CEIAG developments and share best practice
we are working towards the matrix standard – a quality standard to access and measure careers services
advisers are supported in their continued professional development and are trained in, or working towards, Level 6 CEIAG qualifications and other courses relevant to their role
CEIAG is embedded within and complements the curriculum, working with Hampshire Information and Advisory Service (HIAS) inspectors.
