The Bunkhouse

Enjoy Tile Barn all year round in our comfortable, fully furnished bunkhouse. This self catering accommodation in the heart of the New Forest is suitable for groups of up to 37 people or 38 depending on whether the accessible room is required.

Bedrooms

There are two 16-bed dormitories with bunk beds and personal storage facilities and two separate staff rooms, each with a bunk bed and storage, to sleep four staff. The toilet and washing facilities are opposite the staff bedrooms. We provide pillows and blankets so group members need to bring a sleeping bag and pillowcase.

Under floor heating throughout keeps all rooms snug in the winter!

We have an accessible single bedroom with shower and toilet and a folding bed for a carer. Please advise us in advance if you need the folding bed. This room can be used as additional staff accommodation.

We recommend Group Leaders conduct a pre-visit  to familiarise yourself with the bunkhouse, ask any questions and discuss your requirements.

Bunkhouse kitchen

We have a fully equipped kitchen with all utensils, crockery, cutlery and a heated serving trolley.

The Bunkhouse is self catering. Arrangements can be made with local suppliers and supermarkets for deliveries to the Centre. We recommend that the person responsible for food preparation and cooking has attended a basic food hygiene course.

Multi-activity Space

Alongside the kitchen is an area with tables and benches for meal times and classroom based activities, and a living area with comfortable seating. We have a television with video and DVD player, projector screens and a white board.
