HCPC re- registration process for social workers

The period of re-registration will start on 1st September 2014 and will end on 30th November.

You will receive a letter from the HCPC in September advising what to do - please ensure your address on their system is up-to-date.  If you do not receive a letter contact the HCPC.  Failure to re-register will mean that you cannot continue to practice as a social worker.

If you are one of the 2.5% called for audit you will receive a seperate letter about this.  Please refer to our CPD pages for more details of what this entails and where to get support.

Only people who have been registered for the full two year period will be subject to the audit.
